Samsung Galaxys6 and Galaxy S6 edge lauch and review

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge launchSmartphone design is much more important than ever. Mobiles are, at a glance, pretty similar: flat oblongs with big screens for the front and glass, plastic or metal about the back. If you need to stand out, you will need a close look-catching and distinctive design.

For Samsung, things weren’t more crucial: first, the Iphone 6 released last September brought a wonderful design that led to record-breaking sales. And secondly, Samsungs last flagship, the Galaxy S5, has not been the out-of-the-ballpark hit the company had hoped for. Reviewers continued to criticize Samsung to create phones that lacked style and design: a plastic back in your premium phone? Really?

Which means this time Samsung were required to really get it right. The company had hinted rrt had been gonna throw everything at its smartphones regarding design, capabilities and innovations. Customers needed an irresistible need to upgrade and Samsung would definitely give them it.

Today in Barcelona, Samsung revealed two handsets which may have certainly set high benchmarks for snazziness. Inside a typically large-scale launch event, the Korean giant revealed the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. I discuss the special aspects of the advantage separately, but both phones have largely the identical features so lets have a look at those first.

The S6 pair dont have plastic backs. Hallelujah. But rumours of an all-metal back were wrong. True, the S6 and S6 edge both have metal frames instead of the metallic-looking plastic of many previous phones. However the rear is glass. Gorilla Glass 4, if youPer  counting, like the front with the phone, in order that it should resist damage. This glass, Samsung proudly said, was moulded at temperatures of 800 degrees C.

But the real reason for glass on the back could be that the S6 and S6 edge have wireless charging and a metal back, obviously, isn%u2019t suitable for that. So you no longer need to plug the product in, just rest it over a compatible charging pad so you%u2019re away. This will likely not sound like much however it%u2019s some of those added conveniences that quickly become natural and you miss it if itPer centu2019s not there.
